Our mission is to help our clients make their businesses more profitable and sustainable by helping to improve business performance and simplifying their bookkeeping and administration processes.

Our team of experienced bookkeepers can expertly manage your accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare your books for year end for your accountant, provide easy-to-read financial reporting and get rid of tax headaches, such as GST returns and PAYE.

We can also take care of your payroll, oversee your job management system and help with a range of admin tasks, including data entry and paperless filing.

We have decades of small business administration and bookkeeping experience in our team, but we don’t rest on this, we maintain our industry certification and are constantly up-skilling.

Glennis Stuckey – Software Specialist

Director, ICNZB Certified, Xero Advisor/Migration/Payroll Certified and WorkflowMax IT Setup Partner/Certified Advisor

Glennis leads the Katalyst team. Her first bookkeeping role was at 21 where she managed the ledgers manually. She is a Xero Certified bookkeeper, and is expert in a range of affiliate programs, such as WorkflowMax.

Glennis has studied office systems and business computing and, before starting Katalyst, worked in stock control, trade and retail sales, customer service and IT roles. In 2008, Glennis established Katalyst and, since then, the business has grown largely on the strength of referrals from satisfied clients.


Brendon Stuckey – Business Fundamentals


Brendon works with business owners to improve profits and build a sale-able asset.

Having successfully built and sold his own business in the property sector, Brendon has practical experience in how to achieve strong financial outcomes, while also creating a positive, results-focussed team culture and achieving a healthy work-life balance.

Prior to his time as a business owner, Brendon has worked in the field of engineering and also in a leadership capacity within a manufacturing company.

In addition to his role with Katalyst, Brendon is an active property investor, with a portfolio that has spread across three cities around New Zealand.


Joanne Dow (Jo) – Bookkeeper


ICNZB Certified, Xero Advisor/Payroll Certified

Having previously worked as an ‘in-house’ accounts clerk, Jo understands just how important the accounts function is to keeping a business running smoothly. With more than ten years’ experience in accounts roles, backed by a Certificate in Small Business Accounting, she is a pro at keeping her clients’ books in order.

Whether you need assistance with accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, GST, payroll, debtor management or data entry, Jo can help. As well as possessing an extensive knowledge of Xero and a range of other accounting systems, Jo is also highly proficient with online payroll systems.


Lyn Moray-Cook – Bookkeeper


ICNZB Certified, Xero Advisor/Payroll Certified

With more than 25 years’ office administration experience under her belt, Lyn has a wealth of experience to offer our clients.

Prior to joining Katalyst, she held a sole charge office administration role and was responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, IRD returns, cashflow forecasts and payroll for 100 staff.

A highly experienced user of Xero and MYOB, Lyn is adept at liaising with accountants to ensure our clients’ books are in perfect order come year end.


Maree Biland – Bookkeeper

ICNZB Certified, Xero Advisor/Payroll Certified

With more than 30 years’ experience in all levels of business administration and management, Maree is in a strong position to understand (and alleviate!) the challenges that business owners face.

Maree has owned two successful businesses, both of which serviced the corporate sector. For the last 20 years, she has worked in office management and administration roles, keeping accounts and payroll running smoothly for her employers.

Diligent and detail-oriented, but with a great sense of humour, Maree is highly experienced at using a range of software applications – from Xero and MYOB to Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Lara Greenway – Bookkeeper

ICNZB Certified, Xero Advisor/Payroll Certified

With more than 20 years’ experience in business and financial administration, Lara is an invaluable asset to our clients.

Proficient in a wide range of software systems, including Xero, MYOB, Ace Payroll, Salesforce and more, she has a talent for simplifying processes to streamline the way businesses run.

Lara’s career experience and skills are complemented by her tertiary degree – a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.
